I direct, write, and produce film, theatre, and new media. My first feature film, Him, is currently playing festivals across the US. It has been praised for its “blend of biting humor and unsettling drama” and has recently been awarded Best Ensemble Performance (Wood’s Hole Film Festival, Hell’s Half Mile Film Festival) and the Grand Jury Prize for Indie Spirit (Richmond International Film Festival).
I was the 2024-2025 Artist in Residence at Duke University, where I developed and presented my play GOOD, an adaptation of Bertolt Brecht’s The Good Woman of Setzuan. I am currently a faculty member at Christopher Newport University.
I have served as Artistic Associate with Acting for Young People since 2015, where I have written and directed over 50 plays for children. My coaching work is proudly supported by AFYP. In 2017, I founded the non-profit theatre Who What Where Productions, where I produced and directed several world premiere plays including Spills by Ruthie Rado, which has gone on to successful runs in NYC and London. I am currently developing this old haunt, a new musical with Maggie Kane, SMJ, & Dillon Feldman, which was recently presented in concert at The Green Room 42 (check out my in development page for more details).
I hold an MFA in Directing from Carnegie Mellon University, where I was a John Wells Fellow from 2020-23. BFA, George Mason University. I am also a TEDx speaker, an Associate Member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, and a member of Film Fatales.

Private Coaching
Rebecca is available for private online acting and dramatic writing coaching for children, teens, and adults via Acting for Young People. Her students have been accepted to BFA programs including NYU Tisch and competitive programs for advanced high schoolers such as the Signature Conservatory.
“Rebecca has always pushed me to think outside my comfort zone and analyze my characters in-depth, going beyond what is written on the page. Her knowledge of character development, dynamics, physicality, and expression is extensive and has allowed me to embody complex characters with confidence. Rebecca also pays attention to who I am as a person and has helped me find audition monologues that balance my own characteristics and personality with the character’s, allowing me to focus on advanced technique rather than having to spend time trying to connect with the character. Rebecca’s patience and willingness to listen to my thoughts and adapt her teaching to my acting style has led me to become a stronger and more well-rounded actor.”
— Sofie, High School Student
“I am a current sophomore pursuing a BA in Theatre at the University of Southern California. I began working with Rebecca the summer before my senior year of high school and I am so grateful that I did. Rebecca’s coaching truly impacted my craft and allowed me to see my potential as an actor. What was amazing about working with Rebecca was that it gave me a system of practice and repetition and I could continuously improve on my work. Every point and critique given deepened my understanding of plays and characters. And most importantly, through coaching from Rebecca, I learned how to translate my intellectual understanding of characters into emotional human beings, freeing myself from getting stuck in my head. Working with Rebecca took my craft to the next level.”
